Vosne-Romanée
COMMUNE
Vosne-Romanée is a commune (village) in the Côtes de Nuits region. Known mainly for red wines from the Pinot Noir variety, although up to 15% of local white varieties are allowed to be grown to maintain natural diversity. The village has been known for its high quality wines ever since the monks of Saint-Vivant came here over 1000 years ago.

On its territory there are six separate vineyards of the Grand Cru class, which are among the most desirable and expensive wines for collectors: Romanée-Conti, La Romanée, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, La Tâche, Richebourg, La Grand Rue.
