COMMUNE
Volnay is a village (commune) in the Côtes de Beaune region that is said to produce some of the softest and most delicate Pinot Noir wines of the southern Côte d’Or. This commune cannot boast of having a Grand Cru, but the Premier Cru vineyards cover more than half of the total area, 29 climat (French) per 213 hectares.
