Moulin à Vent
COMMUNE
Moulin-à-Vent is one of the 10 Crus in the southernmost region of Burgundy — Beaujolais with an area of 717 hectares. In this case, "Cru" means a whole commune with a huge variety of granitic soils. This Cru is known for its windmills from the 16th and 17th centuries (literally translated from French "moulin-à-vent" - windmill).
