The history of Maison Clusel-Roch dates back to the 1950s. René and Josephine Clusel began growing vegetables, fruit trees and vines in Côte-Roty. The next generation of the Klüzel family were persuaded that Cot-Roti had potential and so began recreating the modern history of the house. The estate, also got its current name of Clüsel-Roch with a new partnership with Brigitte Roch. The vineyard has evolved significantly during the 1990s.: Mass selection, plowing with a plow, stopping the processing of chemical fertilizers, reconstruction of the winery for the gravity component. Since 2014 they have also developed the negocian component by buying grapes from farmers who correspond to their idea.
