Reinhold Krutzler was brought up under the guidance of Willy Brundlmeier and then had an international winemaking experience in France, Italy and South Africa. Otherwise, in his heart he always connected with the southern Burgenland and its independent wines. He inherited a young spirit from his father Hermann, who has been bottling quality wines in his own Crutzler style since 1966. Together with his father and brother Erich, he made the legendary Blaufränkisch Perwolff in the 1990s which then and now became an important pioneer in the worldwide success of Austrian red wines. At the Krutzler winery the focus is on red wine preferably the Blaufränkisch variety which Eisenberg is the perfect soil-climatic villain. The vineyards are certified organic.
