Pierre-Vincent Gerardin is a delegate of the thirteenth generation of winemakers producing wines in Burgundy.

In 2011, Pierre’s famous father sold most of his vineyards, but left 4.5 hectares of the best parcels for his son. He participate one of them with Lalu Biz-Leroy.

In 2017, Pierre harvested his first vintage and urgently became the rising star of Burgundy. Pierre told about his success by learning from his father and helping him since he learned to walk. Also, the best childhood memories he said about racing for a tractor in the vineyards and hide and seek behind the barrels for which his father worked. Shortly, Burgundy is in Pierre’s blood.

Desiring to produce white wines of that clearness, cut and rate. Pierre purchased second-hand commission barrels to minimize the effect of new oak on the wine. Red wines are produced in an incredibly elegant style, stress the extraordinary terroir with which the winemaker works.

Pierre follows to organic farming principles. Wild yeast is used for fermentation. For aging, barrels with a volume of 456 l are used (partly new, partly the second year of use), as well as steel tanks. The average age of Chardonnay wines is 35 years.
