Louis Boillot worked with his brother Lucien (Lucien Boillot et Fils) on the Gevrey-Chambertin estate until 2002 until they divided all the vineyards into two parts and Louis transferred the production of his plots to the neighboring Chambolle-Musigny village where he settled with his wife, another bright winemaker of Burgundy, Ghislaine Barthod. Despite the distance from his vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin and Volnay, Louis today produces very bright and interesting wines.

Production features:
Hand-picked, careful sorting, complete combing and cold maceration are carried out. The wines are aged in barrels 30% of which are new and bottling is carried out without pasting and filtration.
