To fully enjoy this sample, aeration for several hours is strictly necessary, since the reductive tones will initially suppress the fruit. Be patient, and you will see an amazing picture of the evolution of flavors, or rather, their gradual release and alignment. In general, Champeaux is impetuous, impulsive and generous wine, but in this version it looks very elegant, with good minerality and acidity. Moreover, unlike many samples of the 2016 vintage, the finish does not look closed.
