Domaine de Bonserine
BRAND OWNER

Domain doesn’t have a long history. The North Rhone property was originated in 1972 by Alfred Guerin and American investor. In 1989, Alfred sold the property to help his son to establish his own new winery, Jean-Michel Gerin.

Nowadays Domaine de Bonserine is owned by Guigal who purchased the estate in 2006. Domaine de Bonserine is located in the north of Côte-Roti, just northeast of the city of Ampui. After Guigal got Domaine de Bonserine, they made a serious financial impact to renovate the winery, replant parts of the vineyard and improve the quality of the wine. They built a new state of the art cellar with temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Lots of the wine is now aged in classic Rhone 600 liter demi-muid barrels instead of the standard smaller 228 liter barrels.
