Dalla Valle was originated in 1986 by Naoko and Gustav dalla Valle. Thanks to an uncompromising chase of perfect order in the vineyards and the quality of grapes today the main produces wines from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc varieties, which are already considered among the best in the world.
The farm is small and today it is own by mother and daughter dalla Valle. Their small team consists of only a few people including consulting oenologist Michel Rolland.
The exposition of the vineyards lying in the valley and at the foot of the hills is mostly western and there is always enough sun for the vines. Coolness, which allows the grapes to retain enough acidity, comes from the side of San Pablo Bay. Among the soils there are even volcanic with excellent drainage.
The economy has always adhered to the principles of sustainable winemaking. In 2007 it received CCOF organic certification, and since 2019 we have completely switched to biodynamics, paying attention and paying attention to the needs of each small plot of vineyards.
