The history of the domain dates back to 1890, the first plantings were made with the popular en foule technique when the vines were planted without a garter and with a very high density. Marcel Ferat who gave the current name to the domain, took over the business in 1922 and managed to stay afloat during the economic crisis and the World War.

In 1956, Pierre, Marcel’s son, took over the reins of the family business. Subsequently, he passed his experience and skills to his son Jacqui, who today manages the estate together with his son Samuel.
