An absorbing novelty has been added to the portfolio of the Wine Bank: wine grower Barbaresco, a member of the Lange group of independent winemakers who after graduating from the University of Oenology founded their own farms and decided to unify to tell the world about their wines. Five fellow winemakers work together for the benefit of themselves and their region for 15 years. What is Langa Style? — There is first of all autochthonous grape varieties, the best areas for planting one or another variety, limiting gain and hand-picking, treating one’s work as a favorite child and life’s work.

Winery Azienda Agricola La Ganghija was originated by an energetic, ardent, young oenologist Enzo Rapalino. Wine from the point of view of the proprietor of La Ganghija speaks the best about the land. The estate is located in Treiso, a small town in the province of Cuneo, home to the greatest wines of Barolo and Barbaresco. With all small nearby towns and villages, the vineyards are divided into many small boutique wineries. Today, got ownership of a plot with nebbiolo vines costs great money, it is almost impossible — Piedmont in Italy is not just magnificent landscapes. This region is as prestigious as Burgundy in France. Together with his wife Milena and several other relatives, Enzo produces the second most popular wine in the region — Barbaresco DOCG including from a separate vineyard.

Additionally, to the top wine from the Nebbiolo grape variety, winemakers respect other local varieties — Dolcetto and Barbera and also produce dessert wine from grapes that are harvested at the end of November. White wine is made from Chardonnay which feels as good in Piedmont as in Burgundy.
