Nuits-Saint-Georges is a commune (village) in the Côte de Nuits region. It is located between Dijon the administrative center of Burgundy and Beaune, its wine capital. The commune itself is also an important point on the map, as many respected trading houses have their headquarters and offices there. Covering 320 hectares. This is one of those communes that does not have Grand Cru plots but it does have 41 Premier Cru vineyards, focusing primarily on the Pinot Noir grape variety.
